What is the dish?

There have been a few dish types over the years of Wildblue, and Exede.

I will try to explain the types of dishes used and what you may have as opposed to the dish that is of the future of the Viasat Satellite Internet Systems.

Forget Wildblue. Those systems are done... soon. It's an older system that will no longer have a place in the current world of satellite internet.

Exede. Exede has had a few growth spurts in their dish design. The latest though is the current dish design they are running now,
and you will need this dish for the new Viasat offerings.

This is the current model of exede dish by Viasat,

The Viasat VS-1300.

This dish will take the new P-Tria (transmitter/reciever integrated amplifier) designed by Viasat.

The Tria will be slightly larger, but fits into the support arm just fine.

The older dishes for the Viasat VS-1100 and VS-1200 will not accept the new P-Tria.

If you have these dishes, I am sorry, it must be replaced if Viasat does not create an adapter.

This is the VS-1100 dish and the VS-1200 dish.

No adapter for the new P-tria at this time.
